Using Kinovea software How would you use the software/app? Kinovea is used in analysis for both qualitative and quantitative research, it can be used for tracking the movement of an object or joint, measuring the distance or speed that something moves, or to slow down a sporting action. To use it, it requires filming a video clip of the movement that you would like to analyse in depth, then uploading it onto the downloaded software. Game 1: Breaking of laws Tackles Passing For Against Successful Unsuccessful Successful Unsuccessful 2 1 5 2 9 1 66% 33% 71% 28% 90% 10% Game 2: Breaking of laws Tackles Passing For Against Successful Unsuccessful Successful Unsuccessful 0 1 4 0 13 1 0 100% 100% 0 92% 7%   This collection of data is quite similar for both matches, which is evident by the score line as they were both close wins. In the first game the player won two penalties and lost one, this means that they had a good understanding of the r...
